In general the fuel has to be close to the flame source. Wider base fuel cylinders work better that taller designs. The fuel is very viscous so "wick draw" is limited. You may want to research the old whale oil lamps used during the days of the whaling industry. More to come..... No warranties are expressed or implied on BioWick designs.
