These are the same lamps you see in restaurants. Clean burning disposable liquid paraffin oil lamps also referred to as fuel cells. They are typically used as a light source for decorative table lamps. Numerous religious organizations use these lamps as part of their ceremonies.  Each cell has a removable plastic cap covering the wick. This is to prevent leakage during shipment.
